Hi Everyone,

I have posted this on the DCM and fundraising sections a few weeks ago and despite lots of people reading my email I have so far not had a single donation. So am trying this section to see if I have a better response here.

Myself and a friend Alison will be competing in the 2010 London Marathon in order to raise much needed funds for the Cardiomyopathy Association.

I have attended this event as a spectator and CMA supporter for several years. It is such a great day out and I've always thought how wonderful it would be to be on the other side of the barriers as a runner. Well this year I have finally got my wish!

As I have arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (and an implanted cardioverter defibrillator) Alison and I shall be walking, rather than running, the course. We will be aiming to complete the 26.2 mile course in the shortest time possible (and certainly before we have the street cleaners lapping at our heels!!!!).

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible, and we would be extremely grateful for any donations no matter how big or small. In order to find out more and donate please either click on the link or copy and paste it.

Many thanks for your support and please dig deep.

Tina
