You need to get a 24hr holter monitor or event recorder to rule out heart related arrythmias which could cause similar symptoms.  When you're out and about or standing for long periods outside has a different effect from being around the house.

I used to get similar in the supermarket but it was just that after being fairly sedentry at home my body was adjusting..

Hi
I have had this condition since i was ten years old. i have competed in sailing competitions, slalom canoeing, walking, had two beautiful children (so far are clear of HCM aged 21 and 23 years),  but recent developments in my HCM have occured and i have been diagnosed with a left ventricular anuerysm and my left atrium is dilated and impaired in function. This has been quite a blow since i have been very active and suddenly i have found i can't do the things that i used to be able to do. i have had two aniexty attacks and the last one was on the way to the warfrine clinic. i ended up in A&E, after some time i had calmed down and quite frankly felt quite a fraud as by the time they had wired me up to monitors etc everything showed up as fine. This has put me off going into A&E if these symptoms happen again.
A few years ago  i started yoga classes and i found that the relaxation and breathing techniques that were taught had helped me when i was going througfh a stressful time but i had to stop because of work commitments, but i am going to start up yoga again i can recommend it to anyone who gets stressed or anxious.

For me I fine it 3 fold. 1. I/we have irregular beats and we feel them. 2. the medication can make you feel a bit quesy and have moments where you absolutely don't feel right. 3. you are rightly stressed. I was shocked by my ICD (5 times) and more than a year later am still struggling. However, I am much better and believe that time helps. Hang in there. I hope / and know that you will get there.
